Is a 2008 play directed by, written by, and produced by American playwright Tyler Perry. ‘The Marriage Counselor’ is the 10th play by Perry.

Roger Jackson (Tony Grant) is a hard working good man, an accountant by profession. He takes care of not only his wife Judith but his weed smokin’ pop Floyd (Palmer Williams) and her retired bible totin’ mom, TT (Alltrinna Grayson). The two parents living in the same household do not get along. Judith (Támar), the professional ivy league educated marriage counselor gives marital advice everyday. And there’s a lot to be said about “giving advice”!The scene switches to the married couples seeking advice. Out of sorts, confused and down right indifferent. Dr. Jackson has an answer for them all…but a turn of events causes the marriage counselor to need some advice once a certain college friend drops in. Interesting enough, you’ll find your own personal status…you know– his needs, her needs and your needs!
