Borgata to be first Atlantic City casino to go 100% smoke-free

In an effort to best accommodate our customers — smokers and non-smokers alike — Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has submitted plans to the NJ Department of Community Affairs (DCA) that will make the resort the first 100% smoke-free casino in Atlantic City. To accommodate smoking guests, Borgata will offer several outdoor lounges that will be designated smoking areas. These outdoor spaces will offer guests a comfortable, climate-controlled environment reminiscent of Borgata.

We feel this decision will best maintain the fresh, upscale atmosphere associated with Borgata, while accommodating both smokers and non-smokers alike.

Subject to NJ DCA approval, the plans will take effect in compliance with the Atlantic City smoke free ordinance.

Im pretty sure the room rates will kill you quicker than nicotine.

Angelina does Vanity Fair

Here is some of the interview:

On her father Jon Voight and his film Coming Home, which he won the best-actor Oscar in 1979: “Actually. I’ve never seen Coming Home. Because that was when my father left my mom, and the woman who he cheated on her with is in the film.” (When rumors surfaced about Jolie and Pitt, who was then married to Aniston, Jolie denied them, saying, in essence, Look, this is what happened to my mother, so I could never do it to another woman.)

On being pregnant with twins: “I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depend-ing on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.”

On her international family: “When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn’t have parents. It’s not a humanitarian thing, because I don’t see it as a sacrifice. It’s a gift. We’re all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh—because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little—and say, ‘If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?’ I suppose I’m giving them the childhood I always wished I had.”

On daughter Shiloh’s birth: “We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing…. I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.”

On nannies never sleeping over: “We don’t ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they’re also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady’s a Vietnamese teacher—wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Bel-gium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs.”

The house that evil built. 50 CENT’S LONG ISLAND HOME BURNS DOWN!

The multimillion-dollar Long Island home at the center of a dispute between rapper 50 Cent and his former girlfriend was destroyed by a suspicious fire early today, officials said.

The blaze occurred just days after a heated confrontation inside the woman’s lawyers office over the home.

The rapper does not live in the home and was not there at the time of the fire, officials said.

Six people inside the Dix Hills home suffering smoke inhalation, including the former girlfriend and a boy fathered by the rapper.

A firefighter also suffered a minor eye injury, officials said

Fire officials from the Suffolk County arson squad were called to the home after Dix Hills Fire Chief Larry Feld deemed the blaze suspicious.

The fire was reported about 5 a.m. and extinguished an hour later, officials said.

The rapper’s ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, and two of her children – including 50 Cent’s son – were among the injured.

The other three adults in the home were not immediately identified.

Earlier this year, Tompkins filed a lawsuit against the rapper – whose real name is Curtis Jackson – claiming he had promised her the $2.4 million house more than a decade ago but that since their breakup he now wants to evict her and their 10-year-old son.

Tompkins’ lawyer, Paul Catsandonis, said the dispute over the house had become “extremely, extremely contentious” in recent days.

Although he declined to be specific, he said there was an “extremely dangerous incident” Monday in his Manhattan office while taking a deposition for the lawsuit.
