fidel castro dead????

According to the official line from Cuba, Fidel Castro is very much alive – but that has not stopped fevered speculation in Miami.Rumours of the Cuban leader’s premature death have been a staple in this city of exiles since it was announced that he would turn over power to his brother Raul because of an intestinal illness. Castro, who has ruled Cuba for nearly 48 years, has not been seen in public since.

IMO I won’t believe it til’ I see a body in a coffin.

Take the B61, and you can get on the B61 bus on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn (2/3/4/5/N/R) It will drop you off right in front of Baked. The B77 will drop you off right across the street!

Or you can take the Water Taxi from Battery Park to Red Hook and walk up Van Brunt Street.

American Apparel catching flack!!!!

American Apparel has come under fire for a recent editorial piece in i-D magazine featuring a black model in blackface.

American apparel said: “From the editor (added August 24, 2007): We’ve received a lot of feedback about this photo recently printed in i-D magazine. Many people have been deeply offended by the photograph. We want to make it clear that this photo is not an American Apparel ad. We truly appreciate the opinions of our readers, and we’ll attempt to convey your sentiments to I-D magazine.“

I guess CW realized they would lose a big audience if this show didn’t return.  BUT I still feel it’s not the same without Toni!  Oh well let’s see what this season brings.  Also The Game’s season premiere is October 1st at 9:30.
