Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are heading for the Hamptons but it’s not for a weekend of fun in the sun. The couple are hosting a dinner of about 50 people this Saturday night to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

According to an Usmagazine.com source, the expectation is that the guests will make an extremely large financial commitment to the project.

The dinner will take place at the home of producer Jane Rosenthal and her husband Craig Hatkoff.

Jolie, 32, and Rosenthal are friendly from working together on The Good Shepherd, which Rosenthal produced. Jolie also premiered her documentary, A Place in Time, at the Tribeca Film Festival, which Rosenthal helped co-found with Robert De Niro.

The couple is said to be traveling in and out by helicopter and not staying the weekend.

The invitation reads:

Nearly two years after Hurricane Katrina, residents of the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans are still struggling to rebuild. Brad Pitt started the “Make it Right” project after he visited the devastated area. He hopes to preserve the unique culture and spirit of the Ninth Ward by rebuilding a neighborhood inspired by safe and sustainable “green” homes in one of the hardest hit communities in Louisiana.

Pitt, 43, recently sat down with the Today show’s Ann Curry to discuss his involvement with the Global Green USA project, which is building zero energy, affordable housing for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

08/19/07 : AS I AM

“So this time it’s been MAAAAADDDDD long since I wrote here. But I know you guys forgive me since I’ve been grinding on this new music. haaahaaaaa!!!! This is it though! Now is the time and I’m about less than a week away from being totally done. I almost can’t believe it. This has ABSOLUTELY been the most profound year of my life! I can’t even explain the depth that it goes, the things that I’ve learned, The things that have made me first weaker than stronger and finally over all a better person in so many ways. I can barely believe the way things have turned out! I’ve never been more happy with a record! These SONGS!!! Each one of them has such a personal and honest story that goes along with them. Each one of them are a piece of my heart and I’m so excited to be able to gift wrap it and present it to you.

The single is called ‘Noone” and I’m LOVING IT!!! I hope it’s a bit unexpected and something that completely surrounds you, engulfs you and sweeps you away. I hope it makes you feel good and strong and passionate and makes you scream the words at the top of your lungs. I hope it does things to you!!!! Hahahaha

As you can see I’m extremely exited about it and can’t wait for you to hear it!

Honestly, I cant wait for you to hear everything!! Each song is so different from the rest! You will NEVER have a chance to get tired. But as diverse as it all is, it still has the true representation and foundation of who I am, AS I AM now!

I have no regrets, no reservations, no hesitations, no DOUBT!

I am truly, totally and completely ready!!!

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!;-)

Much love and talk (and see you) soon”

Bow woww and Omarion address relationship rumors

 Bow Wow and Omarion

While the two friends were in town last week recording their December 4 joint LP, Face Off, they enjoyed some loud laughs when asked about their love lives — both current and defunct.

First it was Bow, answering the question about Ciara, the muse for his hit record “Outta My System” (see “Bow Wow Can’t Get His Mind Off An Ex (Ciara?) In New Single”). Of course he’s seen the video for her “Can’t Let Him Go” and heard the talk that she is supposedly dating 50 Cent now (see “Ciara Says She And 50 Cent Are Not An Item”). So is he salty that Fif may be getting with his ex-girl?

“Not at all,” he insisted. He also said he’s fine with her going out with anybody she wants to.

“Once you solidified what’s gonna happen, let them live life,” Bow said. “That’s what life is all about. She’s gonna go ‘head and see other guys as she should, ’cause please believe, I’m definitely gonna get mine in. That’s just how the cookie crumbles. I’ve been on these Web sites [in pictures] with about four [rumored girlfriends]. I’m living my life and having fun. It is what it is.”

One of the ladies Bow has been linked to is Reverend Run’s youngest daughter, Angela Simmons. Photos of the two at various events have been all over the Web.

“Yeah, what’s up with Ang?” Omarion chuckled.

“We kickin’ it,” Bow said. “We go out, have dinner, lunch, little stuff like that. Breakfast. Nothing wrong with breakfast.” He also urged us to “stay tuned” to see how that relationship develops.

Omarion had his own explaining to do as well. His fans want to know what the deal is with him and Rihanna. Gossip pages have linked them as well.

“That’s my homegirl,” O answered a little bit more seriously. “That’s a good friend of mine. We go out.”

So would it be fair to say they have a romantic relationship?

“No, it wouldn’t be fair,” he retorted. “We are just friends. She’s a really cool girl. She’s a cool friend. Bow knows, we all hung out together. We’re all friends.”
