Nicole Richie: Yes, I Am Pregnant!!!

Yes, I'm Pregnant | Diane Sawyer, Joel Madden, Nicole Richie

is finally addressing the question everyone has been asking: Is she really pregnant?

“Yes I am. We are. I’m almost four months,” she tells ABC News’ Diane Sawyer in a new interview airing on Good Morning America Thursday and on 20/20 Friday.

Richie, 25, confirms that the baby’s father is rocker boyfriend Joel Madden, 28, whom she’s been dating since earlier this year.

In excerpts provided by ABC, Richie also opens up about her actions on the night of her Dec. 11 DUI arrest, and why members of young Hollywood are suddenly finding themselves in so much trouble with the law.

As for her guilty plea in the DUI case last Friday, Richie tells Sawyer: “I have a responsibility and it’s something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately I can’t, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.”

Richie was sentenced to four days in jail. She also agreed to serve a three-year probation term, must enroll in an alcohol education program, and pay a fine of $2,048.

Usher Tells Us the Wedding is Still On!

Usher Raymond and his pregnant fiancée Tameka Foster cancelled their nuptials last Saturday, but don’t count the couple out yet.

The singer exclusively tells Usmagazine.com that it’s only a matter of time before they walk down the aisle. “As of right now we don’t have a date but we will let you know when we do.”

The couple, who had scheduled their July 28 wedding at the Long Island home of music executive L.A. Reid, called off the ceremony at the last minute without explanation.

Multiple newspaper and online outlets speculated that the cancellation was due to bad blood between Foster and Usher’s mother, recent reports about Foster’s criminal past, and Foster’s resistance to signing a prenuptial agreement.

However, a source close to the couple dismisses the rumors.

“People are just hating,” says the insider, who reveals the real reason they postponed the wedding was due to a pre-term labor scare.

According to the Usher source, at noon on Friday, the four-months pregnant Foster was admitted to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City after suffering cramping. But upon examination, says the source, “she learned it was just uneasiness brought on by the stress of the wedding.”

At that point, the singer decided to postpone the ceremony. But no worries.

“Everbody’s fine. Tameka and the baby are fine,” Usher himself told Usmagazine.com on July 31, after the couple arrived via private plane in NYC (and Us got the exclusive photo!).

Foster chimed: “We’re good. We’re all doing great now.”

Meanwhile, another friend of the couple assures Us that there will be an “I do” do-over in the future.

“There will be a second wedding ceremony,” the pal tells Us. “This is just a postponement. They are very much in love.”

This breaks my heart

I was reading people.com and came across this.  I absolutely adore Robin Roberts.  She is a wonderful anchor.  My prayers are with her and her family.

Good Morning America, announced on the ABC program Tuesday that she has been diagnosed with an early stage of breast cancer.

Her voice shaking slightly, Roberts, 46, told viewers, “I didn’t want you to hear it from anyone else. … I have breast cancer, as my family here [at ABC] knows, and my family at home knows. And I’m very, very blessed and thankful that I found it early.”

Roberts said she discovered a lump in her breast during a routine self-examination earlier this month – ironically the same day GMA aired a tribute to Joel Siegel, the program’s film critic, who died of colon cancer in June.

An initial surgery is scheduled for this Friday, she said. After that, Roberts will begin treatment and “move forward, as millions of people do when they hear this.”

Roberts said she will continue working at GMA while she receives treatment, and asked viewers to be kind to her on the show’s Internet message boards if she has a bad day now and then.

ABC has also posted a short written message from Roberts online. “Now I join the ranks of millions of Americans who are fighting this same battle each and every day,” Roberts writes. “I appreciate YOUR courage and YOUR example. Thank you for showing me the way.”

Roberts, a native of Louisiana, got into broadcasting while a student at Southeastern Louisiana University, where she was also a standout basketball player. She has been co-anchor on Good Morning America since May of 2005.
